Critical Calculation : Summing up the marks you attempted worth in the exam...

A Tribute To Sir Funny
A Tribute To Sir Funny
by Sang Valte* Japan
I hear the cry of a mother from a distant land,
Mourning for her warrior who was of high command.
He was one of a kind, I know she will miss him;
She will never forget how he was full of vim.
And here I am telling myself not to cry,
Pretending this was a lie, I try not to cry.
As I know this is a pain no brother can bear;
I closed my eyes trying not to shed a tear.
I am sure the flags will be lifted to show some respect,
But what we really need is rather a retrospect.
Where have the real sense of patriotism gone;
When so many works are left undone.
Who will comfort the mourning mother;
When her children does not love each other.
I guess she will have to cry herself to sleep;
Wishing things will get better while she's asleep.
But will things get better, I doubt it;
I know it's a shame that I have to admit,
The love we have for the mother is too shallow,
When somebody fights for truth, there's no one to follow.

Goodbye, Sir Funny
by Vaphualization
Darkness struck in the name of evil on March 14, 2007.
Zoland truly lost one of it's greatest assets
when Sir Funny Zomi passed away.
There is so much to say about this man,
And there is no way that it can all be said.
It was a tragedy beyond belief.
We are sickened with grief.
Zoland is grieving at the heartbreak, for you are gone.
The ultimate sacrifice that you made -- making us safe and free
Must be appreciated - must be honored - must demand a tear!
As your body fall your spirit fade away
All life that was in you was gone
An empty shell
But not with a face of sadness, but a face of calm and relief
Your troubles are over. Life has treated you well.
We are not expecting that sudden good-bye,
Praying that you weren't in pain...
Hating the day. Despising the way.
We come to realize and grow in admiration
of the love and courage you generously gave
to help protect and serve our land.
And even though it hurt you sore, your devotion to us never swerved.
You truly bore the call to duty as a badge of honor and gratitude
We mourn your dead and for your great loss.
Our hearts have unshed tears.
But, they shall not be wasted on scum of the earth throughout the years.
We shall go on.
We shall continue to fight.
Poor Zoland bow her head in homage pray,
And silently she cry
In deepest admiration and love for you all,
Sir Funny Zomi.

Mizoram to become Kuwait of Northeast
Mizoram to become | |

"The fact that many gas and oilfields have been discovered in the northeast makes us feel very optimistic about strike oil in Mizoram," Lallenmawia said.
A survey by the central petroleum ministry about a decade back said Mizoram falls in the 'proven commercial productivity zone' and rough estimates indicated there could be about 170 million metric tonnes of untapped crude reserves.
"Now the reserve could be even more and, if tapped, the state would witness an economic boom in the days ahead," the official said.
Despite the mountainous terrain and the logistical problems in terms of infrastructural facilities, exploration works in Mizoram may not too difficult.
"There should not be any big problems despite the hilly conditions. The companies who were entrusted with the exploration works have wide experience in carrying out work in even more hostile terrains," a senior geologist said.
According to the 2001 census, Mizoram's literacy rate is 88.49 percent, a shade lower than Kerala's 89.91 percent. India 's average literacy rate is 52.21 percent.
The predominantly Christian state does not have any industry worth the name with the economy revolving around agriculture.
